I am offering a Reiki I and II Class on Sunday, March 29, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. This is in the lineage of Reiki Usui Shiki Ryoho.

In addition to learning traditional Reiki, gassho (meditation), Reiki symbols, attunements, self-Reiki and methods of practice, there will be a special emphasis on Reiji-Ho which is an emphasis on intuitive hand placement. There is also a strong emphasis on self-treatment which is utilizing the Reiki energy for yourself. This is particularly beneficial to learn if one is going through physical and emotional challenges. Self Reiki can help one to release stress and aid all other healing modalities. Self-Reiki can easily become a part of anyone's daily meditative practice.

The class will contain learning techniques with application. This will be a hands-on type class with demonstrations and exercises. Even if you are previously attuned and educated in Reiki I and II, I have been told that the Reiki class that I present offers a perspective that helps to connect to the Reiki energy immediately and that I cover some techniques and exercises not commonly covered. The class addresses both the traditional and nontraditional Reiki systems. Because the class is small, there is an air of comfort and time to experience Reiki firsthand.

For those unfamiliar with Reiki, Reiki is a natural healing technique that addresses mind, body and spirit. It is based on the belief that all that exists is made up of energy and during times of emotional or health challenges energy may be depleted or block. Reiki helps to restore and increase the energy supply. Reiki revitalizes the body’s energy promoting release and renewal while supporting medical treatments.

My background has been as a Reiki master and intuitive for over ten years. I am offering this Reiki class to those who want to learn Reiki. As a Reiki practitioner I delight in the opportunity to share this gift. As a healing art, I believe Reiki is keenly developed in the daily practice and application. My class does provide all the tools necessary so anyone can do Reiki in a concise, informative and relaxed setting. I will also provide follow up information and/or respond to questions after the class at no charge.

Please note I present Reiki in this condensed class version because I believe that it is important for people to begin the practice of Reiki rather than to expand the classes or diminish anyone’s pocketbook. Reiki is developed by its practice and is truly a easy healing system. It is my belief that Reiki is simple so that all people can use it regardless of their socioeconomic or educational status.

Follow Up Reiki Class Sunday, April 5, 2009 at 1:00

For all Reiki Practitioners please join me for a follow up Reiki class which will include: finding your personal symbol, enhancing your Reiki session, sensing energy in everything, moving chakra blocks, directing Reiki energy strongly and working with your spirit guides. We will practice reiki, share experiences and discussion. Fee is $15
